Come Visit Trinity
Trinity County is located within the remote coastal mountains of Northern California; between Eureka, in Humboldt County, to the West; and Redding, in Shasta County, to the East. The largest town in Trinity is the gold mining town of Weaverville, at the junction of Highway 299 and Highway 3. Other diverse communities include the wide open valleys around Hayfork, the historic village of Lewiston, Junction City or Douglas City along the banks of the Trinity River, Trinity Center on the North Shore of Trinity Lake, and Mad River, near Ruth Lake, on the southern end. Any trip to Trinity wouldn't be complete without experiencing the majestic Trinity Alps, the energetic Trinity River, or the relaxing waters on Trinity Lake. Come experience our wild and lovely corner of the world.
